ORIGAMI WORKSHOPS

Learn the Japanese art of paper folding. Origami making is fun way how to entertain yourself or your guests at events and parties. Origami can be customized for each particular theme as needed. Is it a Japanese theme event or a pirate party? Ajna will prepare theme origami for each topic. Boats or ninja props, animals, sea creatures, birds or customized for your company logo or product.

KANZASHI WORKSHOPS

Learn how to make your own traditional Japanese hair accessories from kimono fabrics - Kanzashi. 
 

Kanzashi are hair ornaments used in traditional and modern Japanese hairstyles that are often made from folding fabrics into different ornamental shapes, including flowers and leaves. Learn how to make your own traditional kanzashi accessories from fabrics to be worn not just in your hair, but as brooches, necklaces or ear rings.

Kanzashi workshops are for adult audience and chidren 12 years and up.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Ajna Kenning is a dancer and performance artist. Because of her need for hard to find props, costumes, and accessories to enhance her performances, she began making them herself. Soon, she was getting requests from other performers to create items for them. As the word spread, Ajna found herself devoting more and more time to her growing business. 
Her clients now include numerous performance artists and dance troupes, as well as businesses and individuals.
